Whop, Stan Store and Kajabi all promise "everything in one place" for creators, but they charge in very different ways. Stan and Kajabi charge a monthly plan and take no platform cut. Whop has no plan and charges per transaction. Which one is cheaper depends on how much you sell, and which one fits depends on what you sell.

What it costs at two sales levels

About $2,000 a month (41 sales of a $49 product, US cards)

  • Whop: about $67
  • Stan Creator: $29 + about $71 processing = about $100
  • Stan Creator Pro (needed for upsells and email): about $170
  • Kajabi Basic: $179 + about $71 processing = about $250

About $10,000 a month (205 sales of $49)

  • Whop: about $333
  • Stan Creator: about $382
  • Stan Creator Pro: about $452
  • Kajabi Growth (2.8% + $0.30): about $592

At these levels Whop is cheapest. The gap closes as revenue grows, because Stan and Kajabi's plan fee is fixed while Whop's fee scales with sales. At very high volume, flat-fee platforms can win, especially if you would pay for a separate email tool on Whop.

What you get

Stan Store is a link-in-bio storefront. You sell digital products, bookings, courses and memberships from one mobile-friendly page. Creator Pro adds discount codes, upsells and order bumps, affiliate management, email broadcasts and flows, payment plans and pixel tracking. It is very fast to set up and built for selling from social media.

Kajabi is a full business platform: website, landing pages, funnels, courses, communities, email marketing and checkout. Plans limit products (5, 50 or unlimited) and contacts (2,500, 25,000 or 100,000). It suits course creators who want one dashboard for everything and are ready to pay for it.

Whop is a payments and membership platform with a marketplace. You build each product from apps (courses, chat, forums, events, Discord access, software) and sell with checkout links or an embedded checkout. Buyers can find you on Discover with no marketplace fee, and Whop's affiliate network can promote you for a commission you set.

Where each one falls short

  • Stan: upsells, discount codes and email are on the $99 plan, so the cheap plan is a starter plan. It is a storefront, not a member platform with apps.
  • Kajabi: the most expensive to start, with product and contact limits by plan.
  • Whop: no built-in email marketing, and funnels beyond native locked-app upsells need an app.

Those Whop gaps are exactly what apps fill. OneClick Upsell adds order bumps, one-click upsells and downsells, embedded checkout on your own site and Meta Conversions API tracking. WhopMail adds email campaigns and flows triggered by Whop events like new members, failed payments and cancellations. Both run on per-month plans, so add them to the Whop numbers above when you compare.
