Whop App Store: Apps and Built-In Features That Raise Order Value

Searches for "whop app store" tripled in the past year, and "whop marketplace" grew too. Most Whop sellers start by adding Chat and Courses, then go looking for ways to earn more from the buyers they already have. This guide lists the tools for that job, starting with what Whop already includes, and says plainly when you do not need an extra app.

How the Whop App Store works

Open your whop and select Add app in the sidebar. The store groups apps by category (Community, Business and Productivity, AI, Education, E-commerce and Shopping, Trading and more) and lets you sort by Newest, Trending and Most Addicting. Apps are either community-focused, like chat and courses, or business-focused, like tools and data feeds.

Locked-app upsells

Make any app Locked and Paid (one-time), and Whop can offer it before checkout (an order bump), after checkout (an upsell page) or inside the whop. If you have one obvious add-on, such as a bonus module, this costs nothing extra. See order bumps on Whop.

Promo codes with targeting

Whop promo codes can be a percentage or fixed amount, last one payment, forever or a set number of months, and be limited to only new or only churned users. The churned-only option is the useful one for revenue: a win-back offer that existing members cannot use.

Member affiliate rates

Whop's affiliate program has a global rate (30% by default) and a separate member rate. Setting a higher member rate turns happy customers into promoters. Commissions pay out after a 30-day waiting period, which gives refunds time to land first.

Free products as an entry point

Whop's own docs suggest free products to capture emails, build an audience and start a funnel. A free tier with a locked paid app inside is a simple way to sell to people who joined for free.

Content Rewards

Content Rewards pays creators per 1,000 views to clip your long-form content or make their own videos about you, but only after you approve each post. It grows traffic rather than order value, so pair it with something that captures and converts that traffic.

OneClick Upsell: funnels after checkout

Whop's native upsell is one app, one price. OneClick Upsell adds the full sequence: an order bump, then an upsell, a downsell if they decline, and cross-sells, each charged to the same card or wallet with one tap. It also embeds Whop checkout on your own site or funnel builder and sends purchases to the Meta Conversions API.

Skip it if you sell one product with one natural add-on. The native locked app will do.

WhopMail: email from Whop events

Whop does not send marketing email for you. WhopMail syncs your members and starts flows from Whop events: new member, payment, failed payment, cancellation and renewal. It can also send emails with a buy button that charges the card on file, which works well for upsells buyers skipped at checkout.

Skip it if you already run email in another tool and export your Whop users by hand on a schedule you will actually keep.

Which to add first

What to measure

Whatever you add, track average order value, the share of buyers who take each offer, and refunds. An app that lifts order value but also lifts refunds is not helping.
