Plenty of Whop sellers already have a sales page somewhere else: a GoHighLevel funnel, a Framer or Webflow site, WordPress, or a page built with Lovable. Sending buyers from that page to a separate Whop checkout works, but every extra page and redirect loses a few people. You can keep your page and still take payment through Whop.
Option 1: Link to a Whop checkout
The simplest setup. Create a checkout link in your Whop dashboard and point your page's buy button at it. In the link's advanced options you can set "Redirect after checkout" to send buyers back to a thank-you page on your site.
Pros: nothing to install, Apple Pay and Google Pay work out of the box on Whop's hosted checkout.
Cons: the buyer leaves your page, and you cannot add steps between payment and your thank-you page.
Option 2: Embed Whop's checkout element
Whop's Elements SDK lets you mount the full checkout inside your own page. With React you install @whop/elements-react and @whop/elements. On a plain HTML page you add the Elements script tag. You pass the plan, and the element handles pricing and payment in the browser.
A few rules from Whop's guide:
- Use
onCompletefor analytics and ad pixels, not for delivering the product. A restored checkout can fire it again. - The buyer lands on your
returnUrlwhatever happened, with astatusparameter ofsucceeded, failedorcanceled. Show the right message for each. - Fulfill from a webhook (
payment.succeeded) on your server, not from the browser.
Apple Pay and Google Pay on your own domain need one extra step: host Apple's domain association file at /.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association and register the domain in Whop's Payment domains settings. One verified domain covers both wallets. If you use Framer, load the Elements script through Custom Code in the site header. Whop's docs note that Framer's Embed component runs in a srcdoc iframe, which Safari treats as insecure, and that blocks Apple Pay.
Pros: buyers never leave your page.
Cons: you need someone comfortable with code, plus a server for the webhook if you deliver anything yourself.
Add one-click upsells to your Whop
Install OneClick Upsell from the Whop App Store and offer a post-purchase upsell in a few minutes.
Option 3: Use a funnel app with a one-line embed
OneClick Upsell puts a full Whop checkout on any page with one script, so you do not write the integration. It works on GoHighLevel, Framer, Webflow, WordPress, Lovable and anything else that accepts custom HTML. Payments still go to your Whop company as normal Whop payments.
On top of the checkout you get:
- An order bump on the checkout form
- One-click upsells and downsells after payment, charged to the same card or wallet
- Your Meta Pixel and Conversions API firing purchase events with the real value and currency
- Hosted pages on your own domain if you prefer not to embed
Setting it up on GoHighLevel
The flow below follows the setup guide posted in r/whop for GoHighLevel. Menu names can change, so treat it as a map:
- Create an external funnel in the OneClick Upsell app, give it a name and choose the Whop product or plan for your main offer.
- Add the checkout to your GoHighLevel order page with a Custom HTML/JavaScript element and paste the checkout embed code.
- Add an order bump in the funnel if you want one. It appears on the embedded checkout.
- Build your upsell page in GoHighLevel as the next funnel step, then copy its URL.
- Add an upsell step in the OneClick funnel after checkout, choose "Buttons only" since the page design lives in GoHighLevel, pick the plan you are offering and paste the GoHighLevel page URL as the redirect.
- Paste the post-purchase offer code into a Custom HTML element on that upsell page. Buyers see accept and decline buttons, and accepting charges the saved payment method.
- Add a downsell or confirmation page for buyers who decline.
The result: GoHighLevel sales page, Whop checkout with an order bump, GoHighLevel upsell page with one-click buttons, then confirmation.
Which option should you pick?
- One product, simple page, no upsells: a checkout link.
- A developer on hand and custom needs: Whop's checkout element.
- A funnel builder or no-code site, and you want bumps and upsells: an embed from a funnel app.
Check before you send traffic
- Run a real purchase on a phone with Apple Pay and on desktop with a card.
- Confirm the buyer gets access on Whop after paying.
- Confirm your pixel records one purchase, not two.
- Decline the upsell once to make sure the downsell or confirmation page loads.
Once checkout works, plan the emails that follow it. WhopMail's guide to email marketing for Whop communities covers the first emails new buyers should get.
